Lena Achtelik (1989) visual artist based in Katowice, Upper Silesia, Poland. 
Graduate of Institute of History at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She also studied at Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen in Belgium. She obtained PhD in Art for art book Death of a moth – Atlas at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Young Poland 2025 scholarship holder. She has participated in many projects and exhibitions in Poland and abroad. 
Her fields include paintings, artist books, small spatial forms and field recordings. She occasionaly bakes funeral biscuits for vernissages. Main theme of her activities are issues related to the thanatology, cultural memory and the history of symbols. In her artistic research she studies tension between rational and irrational areas of knowledge. 
Her works have been presented in a number of institutions, including: Zachęta National Gallery of Art and Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art and Galeria Widna in Cracow, Gdańsk National Museum, CSW Kronika in Bytom, BWA Gallery in Bielsko-Biała, Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń, Arsenal Gallery in Poznań, BWA Gallery and Wallenberg-Pachaly Palace in Wrocław.
